Agreenium has established a small number of projects to illustrate the kinds of actions the consortium can conduct and to introduce the principles under which it will operate.
With the production of a White Paper underway, Agreenium’s executive committee decided to launch a small number of projects in 2010. These actions serve to initiate and illustrate the possible actions Agreenium can undertake, to encourage involvement of the teams and to put the consortium’s operating principles to the test.

Agreenium describes these as ‘emblematic’ actions, and they combine programmes centred on science and post-graduate education (international training and mobility, international doctoral school) and organisational actions (the creation of an information and service platform). They will shortly be followed by thematic projects arising from proposals of the teams.

A number of selection criteria have been established for Agreenium’s emblematic actions and projects:

They must:
  • Address Agreenium’s areas of interest ;
  • Involve at least 2 Agreenium members, though this does not exclude non-Agreenium partners (particularly international ones)
  • combine research and training, and where possible, development ;
  • Have a direct international perspective or goal ;
  • Enhance existing cooperation actions carried out by Agreenium members.
