The Administrative Board is composed of 30 people:
In addition to the above, a number of people have the right to attend the meetings of the administrative board, including government representatives (Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Fishing, Ministry of Higher Education and Research, Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs), and the chairperson of the Strategic Planning Committee.
The chair of the board is responsible for the management of the establishment in keeping with the strategies defined by the Administrative Board.

It assists the Chair of the governing board in her functions and sets out the broad lines of the organisation’s actions.
It consists of the Chair and Vice-chair of the Governing board and the general directors of the initial founding members.
The COS provides the Governing board with a medium- to long-term reflection on Agreenium’s main directions in terms of research, training and development. It also examines the requests for collective expertise from the Ministries of Agriculture, Higher Education and Research, Foreign and European Affairs, Environment and Health, and the Overseas Secretary of State.
The Management Team ensures the running of the public establishments for scientific cooperation, takes part in defining the strategy, and sets up and coordinates the monitoring of its projects. It consists of a Director (Stéphane Guilbert), a Deputy-Director (Christian Hoste) who is in charge of international affairs, and a General Secretary (Odile Vilotte), and is assisted by a standing team.
At the same time, Working groups and Consultation Networks, led by the management team, advise and monitor each project and research field.
Agreenium also has a Joint International Relations Department, which currently brings together the international support skills of INRA and CIRAD. It provides international representation abroad and supports the development of bilateral and multilateral international partnership actions, and takes part in the global agricultural research system.
In this context, Agreenium is represented at a regional level (Continental France and Overseas territories), abroad (sub-Saharan Africa, Latin America, Asia) and among international organisations (FAO, IFDA, WFP, World Bank and Inter-American Development Bank).
